Lightline
Our own film format, for ideas too hard for a paragraph and too slow for a video. One long engineering drawing, one light that acts the story out, and your scroll as the camera.
One drawing. One light. Your scroll is the camera.
An alarm that has to wake someone at three in the morning, why twenty good steps can end in a wrong answer, a spacecraft one light-day from home. Lightline draws the whole subject as one engineering drawing, up to 1.3 metres long, and a single light acts it out as you scroll. On a phone, the wide shot becomes a close-up that follows the light.
Forty-one seconds, from a number to a person.
The first film follows one alarm at 03:12, through a phone told to be quiet, to the hand that answers it.

The light carries the meaning.
White while all is well, amber when something goes wrong, mint once it is answered. In a film for you, it turns your colour.
Your scroll is the camera.
One timeline, moved by your scroll, nothing on a timer. Go back and the light goes back with you. Press Roll and it plays in its own time, with the narrator.

Cut for the feed.
Every film comes with three to five vertical cuts, each opening on one line, with the narrator and captions.
It ends on your mark.
Send us your logo and the light traces it as the last shot, in your colour.
Your hardest idea, in two weeks.
We make Lightline films for other companies: a product, a device or a discovery, narrated and cut for social. $12,000 a film, delivered in two weeks.
